Location: La Crosse, WI
What is your current role at Inland? Have you held any other roles prior to your current position?
Director of Operations- Yes, I started at Inland as a Label Line Associate in 1994, moved into a cutter Operator role, Supervisor and Operations Manager prior to my Director role.
What impact does your role have on our customers?
My role’s impact to the customer is to drive our customer satisfaction from the quality and functionality of our products. My role is to ensure they receive their products consistently time over time.
What aspects of your job do customers see?
I have led several customer tours and educational sessions on our manufacturing practices and how we produce our products consistently and the standards and we have in order to meet that.
How does your role impact our products?
The Quality and Functionality of our products is a large part of my role, taking cost out of our manufacturing process to allow us to profit and stay competitive in the market.
Where can we find you outside of work?
Hiking, gardening, skiing, shopping!
Who inspires you?
My parents! Both unfortunately passed when I was younger, their resilience and work ethic is something I have always admired. Looking back as an adult and how they carried themselves through tough times, is an inspiration.
What’s your secret talent that nobody knows about you?
I twirled baton for the Warriors Baton and Drum corps from the age of 8 to 18, twirled my Central High School my Senior year. Marched in hundreds of parades and got to travel most of my teenage years.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Family game night with my husband and 2 boys. We target each Sunday to play a game, each week we rotate who gets to pick, and we just enjoy the company. Some favorites are Clue, Yahtzee and Pictionary!
