Letter from Scott Roob, VP of Sales:

Dear Valued Customer,

It is our goal to continue to provide updated information to you regarding Inland Packaging’s ability to continue to fulfill your needs. Last week we shared with you a high-level overview of our business continuity plans as well as the internal measures we are taking to keep our employees safe and our production fully operating.

As there have not been any major changes to our supply chain and our production timelines continue longer than you are used to, we’d like to take this opportunity to say Thank You. We understand that this is a very difficult time for everyone, specifically those who are working hard to keep essential products stocked on store shelves.

We thank you for your continued partnership. We know that it is not easy to accommodate extended lead times and we are grateful for your patience and willingness to work with us as we navigate supply chain challenges and increased demand.

As always, please continue to have discussions with your sales representative to ensure that Inland has the best forecast information possible, so we can plan for your needs along with those of our entire customer base.

Update (4/8/2020)

Dear Valued Customer,
As we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we are committed to keeping you updated on our plans and procedures as they may impact your business with us.
Now, more than ever, it is extremely important for us to have on-going, open dialog regarding your anticipated production needs so we can forecast material need and plan production schedules to the best of our ability during this dynamic situation.
Please see below for some overall updates:
• Inland has been deemed an essential business and all our production facilities continue to run at full capacity
• Currently, our overall supply chain is stable, and we remain in regular close contact with all our major suppliers to manage any change in conditions
• We are seeing increased lead times at all our production facilities due to unusually high demand, please continue to expect at least two weeks more than your standard lead times
• All corporate travel has been suspended; however, our Technical Services team remains available to assist you via phone, Skype, Facetime and Google Duo. Please contact your sales representative to make arrangements for a virtual meeting
• All employees that can work at home are doing so and any employees that are coming to our facilities are asked to stay home if they are feeling ill
• We have sanitization and cleaning procedures in place at all our facilities as well as social distancing measures in place to limit exposure to other work groups
• We have a comprehensive plan in place should we experience an exposure at one of our facilities including quarantining the exposed area and contracting with a professional virus-infection decontamination and disposal company to clean the exposed site/area
• Production would be re-routed to other production facilities as capacity allows and critical need items would be prioritized as needed

As a manufacturer of labels and packaging, Inland Packaging is deemed an essential business as we supply the food, beverage, consumer goods and health and medical industries. At this time, Inland Packaging remains open for business and is operating as normally as possible.

We are committed to continuing to support our customers as they work diligently to keep up with increased demand to keep store shelves stocked. We are working closely with our entire supply chain to ensure continued supply of raw materials and have contingency plans in place should they become necessary.

We continue to monitor this ongoing situation and are following all recommendations from the CDC and WHO as well as those from the U.S. Government to ensure that we are doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our employees healthy and safe.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by COVID-19. We are thankful for our customer and supplier partners and know that together we will continue to keep store shelves stocked with the items people need most.
