New membership reflects expansion into new markets, packaging products

La Crosse, Wis. Inland is proud to announce they are now a converter member of the Flexible Packaging Association. According to the FPA State of the U.S. Flexible Packaging Industry Report 2015, flexible packaging represents about 19 percent of the total $164 billion U.S. packaging industry.

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is one of the leading trade associations for converters of flexible packaging and suppliers to the industry. As the association for the fastest growing segment in the packaging industry, FPA provides information to its members through focused services, including industry research, data collection, promotion and representation.

“This association was a perfect fit for Inland as we continue to expand our capabilities in flexible and resealable packaging,” shared Scott May, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Inland. “We want to be assured that we’re staying up to date on the latest industry trends and proactively providing the best product offerings for our customers.”

Last fall Inland acquired a flexographic print company based out of Downingtown, Pennsylvania – adding to its growing print capabilities. In addition to the new facility, Inland has expanded its product offerings to include peel and resealable packaging options.
