Inland’s Sustainable Label Takes Home a First Place Win

La Crosse, Wis. –  Even amidst a worldwide pandemic, the packaging industry is moving full steam ahead, and the 2020 Packaging Impressions Excellence Awards provided a great example of the industry’s resilience.  Packaging Impressions announced that Inland Packaging, a leader in package technology, headquartered in La Crosse, WI has been recognized for taking home two awards amongst the 200 entries in the 34th Edition of the competition.

Sustainability Category: Labels
First Place: Premium Waters – Pressure Sensitive + Pure Wash — Great Value Hydrate

Flexible Packaging: Flexography
Third Place: Identipak – Flexible Packaging – Uncle Bud’s Collagen Face Mask

This year’s awards competition featured entries spanning nearly all packaging formats and printing processes.  In a year where so much has been put on hold, it’s clear that the printing and packaging industries are forging ahead with the creativity and innovation that have been its hallmarks for decades.

“We are thrilled to share our customers hard work and dedication to unique packaging.  Our first-place award features our Pure Wash offering, a pressure sensitive label with a wash-away adhesive, which showcases the strides that big brands, such as Walmart, are taking towards their sustainability initiatives — it’s fun to see.  We are honored to be recognized by the Packaging Impressions Awards and continue to be very proud of the Inland team and our customers for these achievements,” stated Kim Young, Marketing Communication Specialist for Inland.
